hehe... effect ng walang kuryente kila pao...

just experimenting photoshoot at night!

although it's not that sharp! i'm still satisfied of what i've done...

and it is my first time to use raw...

that's why i call this album a night of experimentation!

hope you enjoy! nyahaha!

diba naka RAW ka naman? you can adjust the color cast accordingly... temperature atsaka tint setting. wag ka talaga mag flash, di kailangan!

yep, pero hindi pa rin ako kasi ganon ka satisfied sa pagiging sharp.... may because of long exposure?...[naisip ko lang] kaya ganon... basta nexttime! kasi konti lang din yun mga dumadaan.. around 2-3am na kasi yan eh... haha

over exposure to! hinabol ko lang.. buti naka RAW ako... haha! dito ko lang naintidihan ang quality talaga ng RAW compare to JPEG! hehe...

mahirap i-attain ang sharpness pag night shots because usually di na gumagana ang autofocus. or it gets fooled because of the decreased contrast. kaya talaga mag hyper-focus o kaya manual ang tira.

hirap naman din pag manual... kasi hindi ako masyadong sure kung ganon na kasharp kasi low light nga...

nag tripod ka ba?
sometimes eto ginagawa ko para maka-achieve ng focus. dala ako flash light tapos spot ko yung subject. hopefully, strong enough yung light para maka-autofocus yung camera...normally f/8 ang aperture kasi optimum na ang sharpness pag ganto ang opening.

aside from using a tripod, eto pa some tips:

1. remove all filters, especially cheap UV filters. flare inducing talagang masisira pati sharpness mo.
2. use mirror lock-up with the self-timer. better use a cable release (maka-bulb ka pa)
3. make sure tripod is sturdy, lalo na pag-mahangin.
4. make sure your cam's strap is tucked para di nag sway habang nag-lolong-exposure ka...
5. keep your aperture between f/8 and f/11. the higher f-number (smaller aperture) you go, you decrease sharpness because of light diffraction. normally pag night shots eto na mga aperture na gamit ko. i only go to f/22 pag mahirap mag expose correctly dahil masyado bright ang lights....

maganda rin ang black and white shots kapag madilim, kahit gumamit ka ng flash dito ok lang. maganda pa rin kakalalabasan ng raw.
